Before partnering with PFS, SITKA, a household name in hunting apparel, was rapidly outgrowing their existing B2B fulfillment solution, which relied on several manual processes – and their customer relationships were starting to suffer for it. SITKA needed a new partner who understood the complicated nuances of B2B fulfillment operations and could support the co-location of their B2C inventory, and they turned to PFS for a solution.
We worked with the brand to design a fulfillment solution that met all their needs, including customs invoicing for international orders, UCC-128 labeling and order consolidation into one LTL at the customer level. With the help of our customizable WMS and system-driven processes, we quickly turned around SITKA’s performance with their eight largest and most demanding B2B customers, including Cabela’s, Bass Pro Shops and Dick’s Sporting Goods. As a result, we helped the brand improve their rating on a retailer’s compliance scorecard from a “D-” to an “A.”
What’s more, our ability to store SITKA’s B2C and B2B inventory together – enabling cross-channel inventory replenishment – helped us meet unexpectedly high demand during the 2017 holiday season without service delays.
